Feeling hopeful for Ranger, thanks to my community of friends who help me help Roatan Animals
Please know that I do not like to share terrible photos of dogs, and this is NOT that.
Ranger HAS been rescued and is getting medical attention.
Update on Ranger: The Dr. saw him and was confident that in about 1 month with the treatment and therapy he will be able to walk again.

Olivia (Roatan Animal Shelter) will not give up on him.
This is a dog who needed help – so Olivia helping him.
I have been trying to save the $ from those who support the shelters in Roatan, for a spay/neuter clinic (There are 7 of us who are monthly donors, approximately $45/month less Paypal fees leaves just under $38/month for donations).
After reading the news about Ranger, I’ve decided to send February and March’s donations to Roatan Animal shelter. It’s only a tiny bit but I’m glad WE did something. The only thing that is too little – is nothing – so for us – there is “No little”.
Anyway – I just wanted to say “Thank You”…it really means a lot to me to be able to send a bit of help when it’s needed.

I also thought I’d share a photo of Leyla (no, not my SISTER, Leyla the dog that was found on my first day in Roatan with Oliva). Look how beautiful and happy she is! Leyla is just like me – she loves her beach days!
Here is Roatan Animal Shelter’s post from yesterday about Ranger. Every time Olivia gets a call, I think her heart must break a little (thankfully – her heart is also huge and strong).
So heartwarming! An absolute gift what you are doing! OXOXOXOXOX
Thank you – and there was an update after he was seen by the doctor that in about 1 month after treatment he should be able to walk again!!! Olivia at the shelter is the blessing here!
